Carl Muzi is far from an honest businessman. I received a traffic violation, going 13 over the posted limit in Mecklenburg, Virginia. I called all the loyal lawyers, and they offered the same thing. They offered to reduce the charge by 10 mph bringing it to 3 over the limit. Their charge was the same, 300 dollars.
Then, I received a letter in the mail from Carl Muzi, so I thought I'd give him a call and see what he has to offer. He said that he could dismiss the speeding charge and turn it into a defective equipment ticket. Since his offer was better than the rest, I thought I'd give him a try. He charge 425 dollars for his services, 125 dollars more than the other local lawyers.
When the court date comes, I get no phone call from him. The day after, still no phone call. Finally, nearly a week later I get a letter in the mail saying that the charge has been reduced from speeding 13 over the limit to 3 over the limit! I was astonished to see what I saw. I payed 425 dollars for services I didn't even get when I could've paid 300 to the honest, straightforward local lawyers. I asked him why he didn't keep his promise, he said because the judge decided to change his rules that day. Why is it a coincidence that all the local lawyers knew exactly what the rules were for that judge 3 months prior to the court date, yet the judge only changed the rules for Carl Muzi on that day?
Do not hire Carl Muzi! He will promise you the best service, charge you more than he should for it because he knows everybody else can't offer you what he offers, then he will give you a poor excuse on why he couldn't offer you the services he promised after the court date, when it is too late. I highly recommend everybody to stay away from carl muzi.
