Ms. Sassaman has a stable where she sales horses, My trainer called and made an appointment to see a particular horse that was on her website. We drove about 200 miles to see and ride this horse. At no time did she mention that anyone else was interested in the horse. We called the next day and made an offer, a full price offer, after accepting this offer I received a phone call from my trainer telling me that she sold the horse to someone else. I can only suspect that she knew about the other persons interest and used my offer to secure a higher offer from someone else. Not only is this heartbreaking but it is illegal to do this is real estate and should be illegal in the sale of horses. Beware of this persons sales tactic and protect yourself from the heartbreak that I experienced.
