I met Marcel Kornegay 25 years ago while living in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I had a affair with him while my ex-husband was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Marcel and I Had a constant relationship which resulted in a son. I evenly divorced my ex-husband and we moved in with Marcel for three years our relationship ended, then me and our son moved to Dallas, Texas.
Marcel did come to Texas to visit his son but when I decided to get married again he stopped trying to contact our son. At that current time I was not aware for many years I was experiencing a lot of memory problems from an undiagnosed hereditary illness which contributed to my behavioral. Marcel would have known this if he was calling or coming to see his son.
Last year I told my son the truth about who his biological father is, because he knew the truth was not being told there was so many un answered questions in his mind. I told our son that Marcel Kornegay is his father and he needed to know in order to be aware of his family medical history. Me and my son tried to talk to him, but Marcel has become so focus on himself that he cant see anything beyond what he wants.
Marcel said he will ever claim our son or will ever contribute anything financial for him unless he get his way. A real man does not offer deals over the life of his own flesh and blood. It should be a privilege and a honor to make some type of contribution to his life. My husband, ex-husband family, my brother has loved and supported your son ever once questioned who his biological father is to that I say I am truly blessed with an unconditional love. They all have bonded with our son and will ever let him down.
As you can see me and my ex-husband despite everything has resolved our difference, because of the fact we have a daughter together and we are not letting a man come between whats important our daughter. Marcel you need to be thanking everyone involved for being there for your son.
When I look at our son I see the man you use to be, he is pursuing the same career as a Firefighter and his heart and soul is pure my prayer for him is that he never turn his back on his son no matter what.
I feel that Marcel Kornegay should take responsibility in creating a life, because the real victim in this situation is his son. Marcel has placed a lifetime of negative emotional thoughts toward our son by being the son of a sperm donator.
Instead of Marcel assuming a lot of things that happen over the years learn that communication is a way of understanding, acknowledging, accepting what has happen.
I love our son and will do what ever it takes to protect his rights!
