Included with my Magic Bullet order their "Fat Burning Bullet Booster" product without my knowledge or consent and putting me on their auto-ship program

I ordered the Magic Bullet product by calling the company at the phone number given in the TV infomertial sometime around the middle of April.

When received, I found a box of the product, "Fat Burning Bullet Boost" included in the shipping box. I was somewhat surprised since I didn't order it and didn't even know anything about it. I took it to be a free sample of another product that they were also tying in with the Magic Bullet product.

Much to my surprise, I just received another box of that product and saw on the included invoice that I was being billed $59.98 plus another $7.99 for S/H. It seems that they had additionally put me on a monthly auto-ship program without my knowledge or consent (the first box was free except for that S/H).

Not wanting that product in the first place, I called their Customer Service number (866-446-6352) to arrange to return the unwanted material and cancel that auto-ship set-up. On their invoice was the statement "You will be charged for the second month's supply if it is not returned within 30 days of delivery."

The man? Who finally answered the phone had this to say: "I had placed my order at their web-site and had included the "Fat Burner" in my order."
NOT SO! I had called the number given on their TV commercial. Also, that product was never mentioned when I placed my order with the operator. And I never even went to their site. He said that they had all sorts of records that showed all of the places on the site that I had looked at. So there's LIE #1.

Next, after I told him that I had never heard of "Fat Burning Bullet Boost", he said that it was being promoted right there on the home page. So I went to the site (www.homelandhousewares.com) and could find NO mention of it at all and certainly nothing at all about it on the payment page. That's LIE #2.

He also told me that "no refunds will be issued once the auto-shipments have already been shipped"; never mind that I didn't place such an order in the first place. All of this despite this statement on the invoice: "you will be charged for the second month's supply if it is not returned within 30 days of delivery". I am very much within that time period. LIE #3.

I realized that there was little use in continuing with him as he obviously was following a pre-programmed procedure and so I ended the conversation.
