In my opinion, this is a terrible company. I remodeled by bathroom less than 4 years ago. I have had nothing but trouble with my bathroom. The hardware throughout the spa is discolored. No harsh chemicals were used. The hardware in the spa IS DEFECTIVE. The spa looks like it is 30 years old.
The shower floor was not installed properly which allowed water to get underneath the floor.
When the shower was initially installed, the grout started to wash away and turned black. I called Allied Bath about this problem and they took no responsibilty. I then had to re-grout the shower floor and part of the walls every 4 months because the grout washed away and turned black.
I now have to replace the shower floor and part of the shower walls for $3,500 because it was not correctly installed. If I do not correct this problem, I may then be faced with having to replace the entire bathroom. I recently again contacted Allied Kitchen and Bath for both problems and they deny any responsibility. Also, during the course of the remodeling, they were a nightmere to work with. They kept jacking up the price with their change orders. Warning! In my opinion, Never use this company.
