I bought a puppy from Karen too. I was amazed at the way it was in her home. Big beautiful house, and puppies everywhere!!! They are so adorable it is easy to fall in love. She comes across as very knowlegable. We bought our puppy around christmas a year and a half ago, and she has been sickly from day one. She had respitory infection that turned into pnemonia when we first brought her home. Karen told us too that we should have brought her to her, not taken her to the vet. She has had multiple health issues and is currently on an IV in a veterinary hospital. They believe she has intestinal problems, but after two months and two different vets they can't even determine the problem. They believe it is poor breeding and or innerbreeding that is the likely problem. She is dearly loved, and we are putting out huge bucks right now to try and save her, but if they can't figure out what is wrong, she will die. She was about 10lbs, and is all the way down to 5.8 now.
There were pee pads around, but there was pee and poop all over the place. This is an easy half million dollar home, and her puppies are free to run. There were puppies in bassinets and playpens as well as running everywhere. I would say there were easily 40 dogs in her house of various ages, mostly shih tzu, but mixes as well.
