Ethics Considerations: EC 5-1 The professional judgement of a lawyer should be excercised w/in the bounds of the law, solely for the benefit of her client (s) and free from compromising influences and loyalties. Neither her personal interests, the interests of other clients, nor the desires of third persons should be permitted to dilute her loyality to her clients.
Therese Malach was appointed as law gaurdian to my three children in Sept. 2005. She had met me once with my children in her office, however met them on at least three occassions while with the father of my children. She had them over to her home on the weekends, and has has many other meetings with the father. She has suborned pergury during trial. She has ignored my all my attempts at communication with her. She has made many promises and fulfilled none. She continues to disregard my childrens express wishes to live with me. She has been paid for by the father in my case, the monied spouse well over $50,000. She has come to court and left from court with him, has had many cigarette breaks in the court stairwell with him. Has smoked in a small confined office while meeting with my children. My daughter is petrified of her. She has since developed a stuttering problem that the law gaurdian cares nothing about. She has misrepresented the facts and circumstances to the court. Ms. Malach has cared not for the feelings of my children and has not given them a voice as thier attorney but has shut their voice up and not allowed then to have a say. The children are now 12,81/2 and 71/2. This woman is not about the best interests of the children she has very clearly demonstrated that.
