MyBusinessAnalyst, LLC - Leonard Woods, Managing Director / MyBusinessAnalyst.com / MBAplan.com - Overbilling for Services 3 and 4 times agreed amount 18 months after services rendered and dodging calls to obtain refund

I was referred to this company to write my business plan by a colleague, and then referred four more of my friends and colleagues after I was pleased with the result. I worked only with one consultant after the company's owner, Leonard Woods, received the retainer from me and assigned my project to the consultant. This was the same process the friend who referred me to MyBusinessAnalyst, and those I referred experienced. I, along with my friends and colleagues, was very happy with the consultant I worked with and satisfied with the end result.

Until seven months later, when I checked my credit card statement. I had been billed three (3) additional times for the retainer amount over the course of the seven months after making the FINAL payment for the services rendered.

At the outset of the project, I encountered what I was then told was a billing error when I was charged the final payment just three days after paying the retainer when I hadn't even returned the questionnaire to the consultant yet. When I contacted Leonard Woods, he assured me it was a billing error and refunded the monies to my account approximately 10 days later.

Then, when reviewing past statements, I realized that 2 weeks after completion I was charged an additional $975, again one week after that another $975, and then yet again another $975 the following week. I contacted all the friends and colleagues who had also done business with MyBusinessAnalyst.com to discover they had similar experiences. One friend had been overcharged 4 times the initial retainer amount - effectively he paid for two additional plans. I had my credit card company reverse the charges because it was within the 30 day window they allow. My other friends were not so lucky and now, nearly a year later, are still trying to get refunds from this thief!

Leonard Woods gave each one of us different excuses ranging from "we have a client with the same last name and accidentally billed you" to "we changed accounting firms" to "I sold the business and have nothing to do with billing". We tested that last one and had my husband call from his work as a prospect, only to be told by Leonard Woods himself that he was the CEO of MyBusinessAnalyst.com.

This is more than a "rip-off" as if we had all purchased something that was substandard or never delivered. We think this is probably credit card or consumer fraud and outright theft and larceny. How can he continue to get away with unauthorized charges to credit cards? And if his company really is as big as he claims it is when he sells you on the services, how many hundreds of people must he being doing this to regularly? $975 x 23 (the number of extra charges my friends and I experienced) = $22,425 alone!!!

DO NOT USE MyBusinessAnalyst.com!!! Check their BBB ratings too and you'll see we're not along in this. I know I wish I had first!
