I had accepted a free trial from Bella Clear as another offer for something else. After I completed my order, I decided I really didn't want the product. I immediately called 1-800-730-0042 to cancel. The girl on the other end said I would have to receive my product first, and then cancel. I would have 10 days after receiving the product to cancel.
This happened on 2/7/08. I received the product on 2/9/08, and figured I had until 2/19/08 to cancel. Boy was I wrong!!!
I called on 2/18/08 after I noticed on my online bank statement that BellaClear had already debited my checking account for $78.41. I spoke with Jerry, supposedly the manager, and pretty much told me I was S.O.L. That the 10 days had expired and I was no longer eligable for a refund.
Furious isn't even the word. I work for a local police department, and now I have one of our detectives trying to help me out. As soon as I have some information to pass on, I will do so. Hopefully this scam will be put to an end and we can recoup our money!
