My letter came from Mark Marketing with the same address... Different company name & phone. The salary is the same. A lot of similarities. The content is contradictory, misspelled, & vague at best. Read about the bonus in first letter, if you make the probationary period it is $500, but second letter terms and conditions is $250. There is a lot of this. First tip off. I concur with the above information on the other two reports.

I found this report on Mike Marketing because I could not find any thing about Mark Marketing. I ran across it by running a search on the address and then I came upon the Mike Marketing ripoff report.

Salary

$47,754.00 USD with progression to $59,678.00 USD pa (pro rata for 0.5 part-time post). The salary is payable by direct credit transfer on the 25th of each month. PROBATION

TERMS & CONDITIONS THEY WANT YOU TO SIGN BEFORE GETTING HIRED:
Introduction
1. All staff newly appointed to Mark Marketing LLC. (the Company) shall be subject to satisfactory completion of probation. During this period, new staff shall be expected to demonstrate their suitability for the position to which they are recruited. The Company shall ensure that staff are made aware of the standards expected of them and are provided with the support, training and feedback to achieve these standards.
2.in addition, all newly appointed staff shall be assigned a supervisor in accordance with the Company's policy on supervision.

Scope of the Policy
3. Probation provides a fair opportunity for a probationer to understand the organisation, the standards of performance required and be given the guidance and support to be effective in his or her new position. Probation allows time for the supervisor of newly appointed staff to make a realistic assessment of their overall performance and ensure their competence in the new position.
4. It allows for any problems to be identified and normally resolved at an early stage and provides staff who do not meet the standard required with an opportunity to improve.
5. It provides an opportunity for the probationer to assess how he or she fits into the organisation.

General Principles
6. Probation shall be the period during which the probationer demonstrates his or her suitability for the position and the Company assesses whether or not his or her performance in the position meets the standards set by it.
7. Overall performance shall be reviewed by the Company by a fair assessment and the probationer shall be made aware of the assessment.
8. Where problems with meeting the standard (s) are highlighted, every opportunity shall be provided to improve performance and where appropriate any training needs identified shall be met.

Responsibilities
9. Newly appointed staff are responsible for:
- demonstrating their suitability for the position to which they have been appointed;

Length of Probation
13. The length of the probation shall be:
- four weeks

PROCEDURE - Review Process

14. Throughout the probation, the supervisor shall pay particular regard to the performance of the probationer and shall keep him or her informed of individual progress. Any difficulties shall be reported to an appropriate member of HR without necessarily waiting until the probation report is received.

Probation Reports
15. The supervisor must complete the probation report by the due date. The report shall include the areas below which shall be discussed with the probationer:
- skill/competence;
- working relationships;
- working environment;
- training needs;
- attendance (sickness, punctuality); and
- any matters causing concern to the individual

If progress is satisfactory:
16. If progress is satisfactory throughout the probation,
- following receipt of the report confirming suitability, the probationer shall be advised in writing by HR of the successful completion of his or her probation.

If progress is unsatisfactory,
17. As early as possible in the review process, where the supervisor considers progress to be unsatisfactory, he or she shall:
- explain to the probationer which aspects of his or her work are not considered to be satisfactory;
- explain clearly which objectives are not being met and/or the shortfall between the probationer's performance and the required standard and timescales;
- obtain the probationer's commitment to meeting the objectives and/or reaching that standard;
- determine (with the probationer) what, if any, remedial action such as training, retraining, support, advice and guidance is necessary and agree a course of action and timescales;
- explain to the probationer what will happen if objectives and/or the performance standard (s) are not met;

If progress continues to be unsatisfactory
18. If, when the probation report is due for completion, progress continues to be considered unsatisfactory, the supervisor shall, in consultation with the appropriate member of HR:
- explain to the probationer that he or she has failed to progress satisfactorily and that the probation report will not recommend confirmation of the position;

Decision
19. The HR Manager shall then consider the facts and may decide:
- to confirm in position;
- to extend the period of probation for a further period up to a maximum of 2 weeks providing there is a reasonable prospect of the required improvement (s) in performance;
- to terminate the appointment

Extension of Probation
20. Where probation has been extended, the probationer shall be advised in writing by the properly delegated person of the problem areas that have been identified and the performance standards required, together with an outline of joint actions agreed and the timescale. Progress shall be monitored by the HR Manager (or properly delegated person).

Termination of Appointment during Probation
21.in a case of gross misconduct, the HR Manager may terminate employment during probation.
22. A report shall be provided detailing the gross misconduct.
23. The HR Manager shall consider the facts and may decide on:
- no further action - continue probation;
- a severe reprimand;
- withholding of a salary increment where provided for in the conditions of service;
- summarily terminating employment without prior notice or pay in lieu of notice.

Induction Checklist
24. Within the first week a new member of staff should be provided with information on the following:
- An explanation of the key aspects of the job including important contacts
- Discussion of training needs
- Review of initial induction period and early feedback on performance

Salary

Hours
During the first two weeks of the Training Program the role will require daily attention; however the workload depends on the number of tasks assigned by the Supervisor. Training assignments would only occupy your time for a maximum of 2 hours per day as long as the tasks are complete. And, the pay during this time is $25 and hour. Upon successful completion of the probation, the benefits become effective and the Employee is offered a full - or part-time position within the Company (FT hours: 9.00-5.00 M/F local time PT hours: 20 hours per week within 9.00-5.00 M/F local time).

Taxes
The Employee receives an invoice and statement issued at the beginning of next month. The invoice shows income received throughout the previous month. All arrangements for payment of income taxes (federal or state) imposed on such payments are the responsibility of the Company. The Company pays the employer's share of the workers Social Security and Medicare taxes, and other applicable taxes sending them to the IRS, therefore, no deductions from the pay quoted above.
