Las Vegas, NV (All Headache News) Before I ultimately sat down to write this scathing (but 100 percent truthful) column about my former employer AHN and its incompetent CEO, Jeff Lying Legend Brown, I thought long and hard about whether or not I should even waste my time on a piece of unworthy garbage like Jeff Brown, but ultimately decided that it would be in the best interest of the profession of journalism, and journalists across the globe to inform them of what kind of person (because hes not a man) Jeff Brown really is, in the hopes that no one will unwittingly take a position with a so-called company like AHN or do business with an unscrupulous so-called organization that rarely pays its employees on time (when the checks dont bounce like a basketball) and is run by a CEO who tries to silence or terminate any employee with their own mind who questions whether or not they are going to get paid for their time and energy.

Finally, I decided to write this column because I dont like being threatened and will not stand for this type of nonsense from ANYONE especially a coward like Jeff Brown, a former police officer whom I suspect joined the force in the first place because he cant stand up for himself on his own and had to hide behind a badge and a gun.

Well Jeff, threaten me all you want, I will not be silenced or go quietly into the night like you want and have watched many of your other former employees do.in short readers, when Jeff Brown decided to bring his tyrannical and oppressive act in my direction, he brought it to the WRONG guy.

Unlike many other former employees, I am not afraid to tell Jeff Brown where to take his extraordinary amount of b.S. And how to get there. I will also leave Mr. Brown an open invitation on the table for an exhibition boxing match in front of all his family and friends where I would promptly kick his ass and donate the money to my favorite charity cancer research.

I would donate it to the employees at All Headache News since I know most of them dont get paid in a timely fashion, if at all, but cancer research wins out over unpaid employees at AHN by a landslide.

Of course, being the coward that he is, I suspect Mrs. Brown would likely call for police assistance before he agrees to an exhibition boxing match - and ensuing ass-kicking - in the name of justice and charity. The only charity W. Jeffrey Brown, likes to give to is himself even at his employees expense.

At any rate, let me explain how Jeff Brown operates AHN like hes some sort of iron-fisted dictator and reveal some of the totally despicable acts I have seen from Brown and the so-called company in my tenure with All Headache News.

First Brown had the audacity to bounce at least 14 checks for employees in August, mostly in the companys sports department. Several employees, at the time refused to work (and rightfully so) for at least four consecutive days until their check issues were addressed but were allowed to return despite the companys No Show-No Call policy which can be read below.

In essence, the policy states that any employee who blows off three consecutive shifts is subject to termination.

These employees, whom Ill leave nameless, but are no longer with All Headache News, were welcomed back with open arms because of the companys failure to pay them although they never informed anyone in management of their respective decisions.

Basically, the companys side was, okay, we understand, you guys should have been paid.

Since that time, the companys lead sports editor and two most tenured sports editorial assistants, as well as the only other assistant sports editor on staff (myself), have all decided to quit because of lack of payment.

The lead sports editor was actually locked out of the AHN system days before he was to complete his two-week resignation period because Mr. Brown was mad at the former employee, whom I can say with firsthand knowledge, put a lot of time, sweat and tears into the company during his 18-month tenure.

Another long-tenured sports reporter was also fired during this period for questioning Mr. Brown about his missing paychecks.

At the time of this writing, I have gone six weeks without receiving a paycheck from AHN and after questioning Mr. Brown and telling him I cant continue to work for free Mr. Brown says to me in verbatim well, consider this your last day!

All for asking when I am going to get paid soon or not!

Basically, if you work for AHN or W. Jeffrey Brown, W.J. Brown or Jeffrey Brown, ultimately you will not be paid for your efforts and then when you ask about receiving payment, he wants to fire his employees and never pay them.

Now Mr. Brown has let at least three world-class writers go because of his refusal to pay them.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Mr. Brown has done this to his employees. The fact of the matter is that AHN has had payroll problems almost since its inception. One former employee, Mort Shepherd, even went to similar lengths to warn others about Mr. Brown at the usacomplaints.com where several stories about Jeff Brown explain in length how this crook has been allowed to travel all over the country not paying employees and keeping their money all to himself.

Now, It has been alleged through company speak that Brown either has a major gambling problem or some other sort of unscrupulous activities going on the side, but how this thief is allowed to stay in business, is absolutely amazing considering there are allegedly federal and state agencies currently looking into Browns mismanagement of AHN and its unscrupulous employment practices.

I can also say from firsthand knowledge that what Mr. Shepherd wrote in his article at the usacomplaints.com is 100 percent true although I was not employed at the company at the same time as Mr. Shepherd.

Basically, Mr. Shepherds analysis of the previous non-payments situations is the exact same stunt Brown pulled this time, telling employees that An overseas account had money stolen from it.

Brown is so tyrannical - and incompetent - he doesnt even know the rules that are written in his own companys employee handbook, threatening me with a no-show, no-call even though we were on The Phone when he did. The following is an e-mail conversation between Mr. Brown and myself in which Mr. Brown tells me a thing or two or so he thought.

He pretends he doesnt even have a copy of my paycheck, although he knows the amount its for (chump change)!! This conversation is just a snippet of the typical idiocy you get at All Headache News, mostly from the backstabbing, no-paying, low-life crook named Jeff Brown.

[7:14: 43 AM] I need the check number and amount it was for to complete the check affadavit and add to my personal records
I never got the check so I have no idea what the number is

[7:17: 00 AM] hello??? You there???

[7:17: 47 AM] 14 It needs signature and notarization and needs to be mailed. Unfortuntately I can't confirm the check number right now, so in it's place please use the payperiod dates

[7:18: 00 AM] The amount is xxx. Xx

AM] just curious... Even though I have NEVER missed a shift here doesn't the employee handbook say that an employee has to miss three consecutive shifts in order to be fired? Just asking!!!

[7:21: 28 AM] I got an e-mail asking if i was scheduled to work yesterday and aksing if I wrote content which of course, I did

[7:21: 54 AM] I would take that up with Danielle. She is the editor

As you can see, Mr. Brown has absolutely no clue about anything that goes on in his own company and also told me personally that he has absolutely no knowledge of the journalism industry and that hes only in this venture to make money!

The man thinks he can tell me to rethink my tone after I write, Oh well, back to work

What kind of idiot does that?

And to be totally honest, both of my biological parents are no longer alive and if Mr. Brown thinks he can tell me what to do or how to think, hes a bigger fool than I originally thought.

I would suggest that you rethink your tone with me.

I guess Mr. Brown thinks he can even control the way his employees think or scare them into working for free forever.

Well, Jackass Jeff you are sadly mistaken and if you think you can change the way I think, youre welcome to come and give it a shot, you have my address Im sure.

Once again, in the name of charity and justice, it would be my pleasure to knock you on your keester in front of your family and every ex-employee youve ever screwed over at AHN.

Before anyone takes this letter the wrong way, it is most certainly not a threat to Mr. Brown, just an offer for a friendly boxing competition where I would donate any proceeds to cancer research, local law enforcement and a journalism class for Mr. Brown.

Okay, with that said, Mr. Brown, here is my official resignation I Quit you lying bastard!

Oh goodness, I guess I had better rethink my tone, huh!

In all seriousness, the Better Business Bureau in Colorado, Nevada and Florida all know about Brown from the thousands of calls they have received the past couple of years and need to shut Brown down immediately before he can steal any other former employees money that he should have paid them long ago.

Here is a copy of the AHN No Call, No Show policy, followed by my question about the policy, which, coincidentally, was never answered.

NO CALL, NO SHOW
Any absence where you do not call or show for work for three (3) consecutive days (non disciplinary absence) is considered job abandonment, which is defined as a voluntary resignation. To be clear, where you do not have written authorization for an absence of three or more days and you do not call the Company and speak to management and do not show for work, your employment will be terminated.

Of course, after I sent Brown a copy of his own companys policy, I havent heard from him since.

Is it three days of no calls and no shows or is it one? Remember the three sports guys never informed anyone and took off FOUR days and were allowed to come back, but I get threatened with termination for questions about my paycheck and NOT missing a day. Amazing!

In closing Jeff, I suggest YOU rethink your attitude with your employees and under-handed company, because one day, youre going to run into another employee like Mort Shepherd and myself who isnt afraid of you and will promptly tell you to take your lying, non-paying, non-journalistic rear end to take a hike.
