The initial sign of for the program was approximately $500.00. I received
a bottle of juice, la lite snacks and a food scale.
I went in for weighting and consulation, the young lady asked if needed anything, I told her just the snack bars which were $29.00. I didn't have $29.00 at hand, I told her I could got to the ATM at the corner, bet the money and return. She said, that I could charge the la snacks and I agreed. When I received my bill it was over $1000.00. I have been trying since 2006 to get the problem corrected, in the mean time, the intereste is pilling up and I am very annoyed. The padded my bill $1400.00 with interest.
I do not have any of their product and never did. I spoke with the manager several times and she was to issue credit to my account. She tried to talk me into coming back and taking the food. I told the manager no, that I did not trust them and wanted my account credited. LA Weight Loss is a scam, my account is now up to over $1400.00 and I still to not have any food, drinks, snack or anything else they peddle. I am annoyed and need to have my account cleared, they are ruining my credit. They financed through Money Bank/Care Credit. I spoke with one of their credit representatives and they told me that LA Weight Loss must rectify the problem.
I spoke with the manager Ruth several times and visited the center for and requested a credit. She tried to get me to return to the center for weight control and I refused, I explained that I did not trust them and only
wanted them to credit my account.
Not sure what my next step should be. My account has been sent to Alliance One collections agency for payment.
LA Weight Loss is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered. As of today 8/6/7 they have not credit my account.
I am open for any suggestions. They are a rip off and need to be stopped.
