I just read this rip off on this site and my story is exactly the same. A young girl came to my door and said that she was a college student from Texas. Her mother lived in my town and she was here trying to raise money for a class trip to Austrailia. She was majoring in Marine Biology and her class was going to Austrailia to work on a project that Steve Hunter (the crocodile hunter) had started. The program was to air on Discovery. She even said her mother said to offer a service to go along with the fund raiser, and that she would come back and wash my cars. She also mentioned that they like to send a childrens book to the hospital.
Well, these books are regular childrens books that would normally cost under ten dollars. Team Xteame sells them for $40 plus a $14 handling charge equaling $54 per book. I wanted to belive this girl, but after she left I didn't feel right about it. So I looked up the company on this site. I've stopped payment on my check.
