Today I discovered a 1.00 charge to my debit card with the recipient of the money being Value Plus. I tried to call the 1-800 number listed on my bank statement to find out what this was about and got no answer. I called my bank and was told that this was probably for a trial offer (an offer that I never signed up for) and that I would be billed more the following month. I was advised to cancel my card and get a new one. My question is, how did this company get my information?
