Freecreditreport.com is nothing but a scam. Without even notifying me, they fraudulently billed me after the end of the "free trial period". Usually, most companies would have the decency to notify you of the end of your trial and cancel it. However, this company thinks that it is fair and legal to simply take money out of ones account.
This needs to stop NOW. I have lost quite a lot of money and would love to get it back, but because of this companies lack of heart there is probably going to be no way to get it back. What's worst is once I learned that they were stealing my hard earned money, it took me days to finally cancel the service.
When I first called the number to cancel, it said the number had no service. Immediately I called back and finally got an automated message saying the times that they are open. The next morning at the crack of dawn I was determined to cancel the service and give them a piece of my mind. After talking to a number of people and being redirected every which way, I finally cancelled my "trial".
To conclude, this has caused me so much grief and money. This company needs to refund ALL of the victims that they have fraudulently stolen from. Please, someone out there with authority... Do something.
