BEWARE Misleading ENTRY LEVEL MARKETING PUBLIC RELATIONS job postings Texas

BEWARE Misleading ENTRY LEVEL / MARKETING / PUBLIC RELATIONS job postings (usually in all caps)

Beware of job positions with key words in all caps such as Entry Level / Marketing, Public Relations, Fortune 500, etc it is apparent that they are all connected in a pyramid scheme (some call it spider web, some have reported it to be cult like) any way you call it it is apparent they are all connected and under a multitude of names through out the United States and in Canada (and possibly elsewhere.) Some reports are of parents comparing the company (under different names - similar ads - same m.O.) their children are "working for" to a cult.

After the first interview and receiving a call back for a 2nd interview the whole thing just smelled more like a scam the more contact I had with them. So I skipped the interview and a google search turned up this site as one among many to have reports of numerous indivuals being ripped off by them.

The second interview is actually an 8 hour ride along (some report they often try to get the "interviewee" to drive their own vehicle.)

In the end, most report that the business they are in is actually the business of opening new offices under the so that each office can reap the benefits of the profits made by the door-to-door or gas station-to-gas station sales efforts of the unsuspecting fresh fish peddling trinkets and wares like those found at the 99 cent stores.

Here are some definitely advertising in TX:

E.M. & Associates (I was told the "E" in E.M. & Assoc stands for Eric): [email protected]
(located on St. James between San Felipe and Westheimer near the Galleria area) The m.O. Seems to be to herd as many people in for interviews of multiple people at a time. Call people back and tell them they are 1 of x number of people to be selected for a second interview (a sophmoric technique used to attempt to drive the the individuals desire 'to be choosen / hired / etc.)

Lindsey Garrison
reference code advertised: EVENTS (this is possibly to highlight which of the many many ads posted caught the individual's eye and tailor their schpiel)
-will call or email persons prompting them to "call to expediate the resume process"

Many many other names out there seems to all be spawns of one main company.

VIP Marketing (ads in Minnesota)
