Got an e-mail this morning offering either an iPod, or a laptop (or both) for 30 day evaluation and then to keep.
Guess what? The email said pay $US 10.00, the charge to my bank account was $A 47.18. Now I know the US dollar is good, but it isn't that good.
Anyway, the transaction was processed through PayPal, who declined to do anything about the fraud; my own bank - The National Australia Bank - wouldn't stop the payment even though it hadn't been completed when I rang.
Homepay4u doesn't exist; [email protected] will not reply to emails; datacash is just a fraudulent money collection agency for other fraudulent assholes.
Goodbye America - I will never do business with any company on your shores again.
You don't have many friends in the world - and you won't have many in Australia for long at this rate.
