Where should I begin? Well it was the summer of 2000 and my Husband and I had been shopping at hundreds of different car dealers and were lead to no other resort than Ugly Duckling.
My Husband and I were greated with smiling faces and friendly aditudes, little did We know our troubles were about to begin. First we were offered only 4 different choices of cars that were the year of 1993, once the decission was made we drove it around the lot and there was no Air Cond. The Mgr at the time said he would fix the problem if we decided to buy the car, and eventually the mechanics did 3 months later.
The problems continued one right after the other, brakes, clutch, oil leaks, alternator, belts, battery, all shocks, axl, motor mounts, cracked transmission, and not to mention the car has been labled a GROSS POLLUTOR and will not pass smog.
My Husband and I have replaced everything in the car, except the latest problem which happend while driving on the street the car just stopped and we had it towed to our mechanic who said the transmission is cracked, rear axl is broken, busted motor mounts and the car wont pass smog.
My Husband and I have contacted Corp. And have received no help. We have put more money into the car than it is worth and were not gonna take the abuse any more.
So anywaise, I guess you can figure out what we did next!!!
The moral of this true story is we all have rights, and most of us learn from our mistakes. I'd rather it sit on a report for 7 yrs.
