Charity ripoff, they tell you half truths to get you to donate money $ to their kid

These people at "Queen Home School" have a link to www.caringbridge.org on their homepage. They tell half truths to get people to give money to them and their kid. They say on their start page that their kid has leukemia (True) and that he needs some 'herbal supplements' that supposedly cost $3000 a MONTH for just him! (False) The lie is that the ENTIRE FAMILY IS on the supplements (They have 6 kids, 2 parents), the father is employed with a cushy penndot job (in other words, full medical benefits), so it's not like they are destitute.

Since their kid got sick (a little over a year ago), they seem to have been doing extra well financially. For example, within the year, they traded in their old motor home for a brand NEW very expensive one, which they use for their home school business to go to trade shows, he bought his kids (and himself) at least 2 new dirtbikes, he recently got a motocross one for himself, he got a very expensive light set up on his truck (they cost over a thousand bucks to rig up), they got new gravel spread on their driveway (and their driveway is VERY long, and gravel isn't cheap either) and they are getting some locals to put a new addition on their house, which isn't cheap, especially since they put in cement block walls. They also got some brand new skis (not cheap either, especially if you go skiing!). This is even just what I know about, there might be other stuff too. I also think they just bought 2 new vehicles, as their one red car was totaled awhile ago.

Obviously these people are not desperate for money like they try to make out on their posts at caringbridge.org. Their kid has been through treatment, and yet they still are trying to solicit more cash from unsuspecting people. The posts just tell about all the woe is me stuff that happens, yet they say how they need a 'new tv' for home schooling their kids, then she needs a new digital camera, etc etc. They even got Make A Wish foundation to build their kid a clubhouse. They are using the fact that their kid had leukemia to rake in the cash.

I would send pictures of this stuff but their place is in the woods and I can't trespass on their land to take them.

I emailed caringbridge to tell them about the scam, but I never got a reply, apparently they don't care if someone is using their site for scams...
