Refusal to cancel of stop magazines subscription orders after I advised then one week later, Georgia

I was caught in the international reader League plot. On February I was solicitation to purchase magazines I was interest at first, so the telemarking salewoman call me on my cell phone went through several magazines before finally coming to several ones I was interested in.

I agreed to pay $39.88 visa credit card for 24 months for $39.88 monthly in order to subscription the ones I want. I gave my debit card information over my cell phone to be billed automatically. One week later I call the saleswoman back to let her know I was not interested in subscription the magazines that we has talk about. She stated that I agreed on the phone to pay the $39.88 for 24 months.

In February two week later I check my checking account and realized that a deduction in the amount of $39.88 being drafted on my account. I went to my bank to verify who was drafting and the verifying that International Reader's League of Maroetta, Ga. 30068 electronic drafts it at that time. I stop future electronic drafts from my bank to stop the payments that has been made to the International Reader's League. I called the representative she told me that she would low the payments to $16.88 a month for 24 months I told her I didn't want the magazines. The representative get angry and hang up on me while I was talk to her about the magazines over phone.

I began receiving subscription magazines in approximately six weeks. Lately I continues to try stop and cancel all orders by telephone calls and personal letters they refused to stop sending the magazines. I sent the magazines back to then for the months of April and May by postal mail with notices telling them to cancel all magazines orders. They continues to bills me each months and still demanding to sale their subscription magazines and want me to pay for February until now August 20.

This company is running a scam. I know ther are people out ther who sucked into their money making scheme and they need to realize that they not alone. If enough people come forward who has been ripped off they maybe we would stand a chance of getting back what we are owed.

In able to this reporting, I plan on contacting the Office of consumer reporting to see what actions can be taken to rights who has been wronged (ROR REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)
