I checked my bank account this morning and I noticed that my account was less than I had anticipated. I checked it in more detail and noticed a check in the amount of $159.95
I know that I did not write a check for that amount, so I viewed the check and noticed that it was not one of my checks. It did not have my signature on it, nor was it any of my check numbers. I called my bank ASAP and spoke with Check Fraud Department. I told them I did not authorize this check and she told me that I must have filled out an application for this. I know that I did not.
She told me that because I am a valued customer with the bank, she would return the check to the company and put the $159.95 back into my account. The check fraud department advised me to close this bank account and open a new one. I did this.
This company is a fraud. Please beware of them. Do not give out any information from your checking account to anyone, especially over the internet. Most of these companys are a scam.
