Fraudulent Charges after booking flight thru Orbitz or Cheaptickets ripoff

My complaint is against "TLG GREATFN". My husband and I share this credit card. It is my job to make the payments. Oh, and we pay it off every month, therefore, never pay any interest. I always save my receipts and match them to the statement.

On our June statement I noticed a charge from a company I did not recognize. I did my research to find it was a legitimate charge - billed through their sister company.

This prompted me to check my statement a little more thoroughly. It was at that time that I noticed the $9.99 charge from TLG GREATFN. I had been assuming it was a subscription my husband was receiving. I asked him only to find that he, like me, had no idea what this charge was.

I googled them, only to find the "consumer complaints" there. Of course, I was just sick. I immediately pulled and checked all of the statements from my credit card company. Believe it or not, they have been taking $9.99 from my account for 11, yes 11 months. Boy did I feel like an idiot! As I mentioned before, since I did not have a receipt for this charge, I assumed this was a charge that my husband knew about.

The first thing I did was call my bank, they told me to call the company "TLG GREATFN" which I did only to be made to feel like I was beneath them and like an idiot. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor after this guy told me that I did signup for there service. Which of course I did NOT!

His female supervisor, who told me my service would be canceled. I reminded her that it was a service I never sign-up for. She was very matter of fact, as I got more angry by the second. I told her that I insist that they credit my account for the 11 months of charges ($110.00). She agreed to refund 1 month of charges, but that I should have realized the "error" before 11 months had past. She said that I would need to fax them a request for a refund!

Now, maybe it's me but, if she immediately agreed to refund 1 month - she knew they were in the wrong! I am still in the process of getting a refund.

I want everyone to know about this company and any others out there that are ripping people off without them even being aware. Please let everyone know about this. I think that "20/20" or "48 hours" or some show should do a show about this.

If anyone can help me in my process, I will accept the assistance.
