Complaint / review text:
Like the other postings on this site, I too had a woman approach the house selling magazines for her "broadcasting class trip to europe". It is amazing how many broadcasting classes take trips to england. Anyway, she was completely dishonest in her approach, and I think it is important that people are aware of companies like this because they do significant damage to those students who do work hard to raise money for important and legitimate causes. I too am afraid to cancel my subsciption for fear of never seeing the money returned, but I at least hope that I will someday see the magazine that I paid twice the going rate for.
The funny thing is the webiste has in fine print "This company does not sponsor any scholarships, tuition fees, or participate in any educational progrtams in affilliation with any school or institution. Participant is not permitted to state or imply such."
I find it interesting that people for this company are making the same pitch all the way across the country and the company claims to have nothing to do with it.
