Hampton LITNO - December worked regular 24 hours one week and 53 hours the next week to help cover a shift, which both ended up on the same pay period. No holiday nor overtime pay was awarded. We are paid every two weeks so I ended up with the 77 hours and basically no family or friends for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years. Not only that but I graduated from college on Dec 15th and this property doesn't have a manager seperate from the owner and he doesn't want to let any of the employees move up.

That next week - still unsure of whether or not I'll have to cover that other persons shift. I left my week open to work at the Hampton (please be mindful that I also have another job). Well, she decided to come back so I decided to "make-up" for my stolen Christmas by taking a trip. With the Hampton team member travel program reservations need to be made 1 week in advance but it is still up to the management, that brings me to the Memphis hotels.

Hampton MEMUN - Called every Hampton in Memphis for the employee rate and no luck. Okay no BIG deal I'll just stay at a Hampton out of loyalty and because I like it and pay full price. I checked in around 3pm and the room was only for one night but the day manager seemed to miss that because her boyfriend was at the desk and I suppose he made her too excited to pay attention to minor details. Took clothes to room, napped for an hour, got up and ran errands until 6am (yes that next morning, I'm 25 I can handle it).

Well, upon arrival to the hotel I ran into some gloomy guests and I caught myself staring and then they asked was I a guest. I said yes and they said watch out they are breaking into cars outside. WTF? Okay, maybe isolated so I go to the room, rest, and then woke up around 10am got dressed and then at 11am the rude housekeepers knocked on the door with attitudes - check out is at 11am. I said sorry I wasn't aware (*remember the goo goo gaa gaa front desk manager that didn't speak to me). I left some money on the dirty towels for any inconveiences (sp?). Not to mention that the hotel that I work at check out is at noon.

Anyway days later I went to my bank to make a deposit for future purchases and the Hampton charged me for two nights. With only $200 in my checking and savings at a completely other bank than my checking account I knew that I was in trouble. I immediately contacted the hotel the night auditor basically said I can't help you call back later. Plus I has two other purchases that were being processed and needless to say they had already bounced plus the bounced check fee was coming soon. So I faxed in my information to the Hampton due to the fact that I knew that I was so too pissed to call back later and 1 week later I sit with no response, 2 unpaid bounced checks, and 1 pissed employee.
