They not only do this in the store, but the Distribution Centers that service Walgreens Stores..!!
I was employeed at the DC since 2001. My daughter was diagnost with chronic ashtma in therefor i had to apply for FMLA through walgreens... This summer, my daughter got really sick, so i had to take her to St. Louis Childrens Hospital, the best around here, to a specialist, just when she started gettin better, they fired me! They said i went over my FMLA days for my daughter!!! No where no how would they show me where or prove that i went over my days. They suspended me then fired me, then they had the nerve to try and appeal my un-employment, i could write and write about this company, but i dont have the energy no more, its really funny i have had FMLA approved with this company, but as soon as i am sexually harassed by a co-worker, then they find a way to get rid of me, YES, there is life after walgreens, ive never been happier, its just such a voilation to human kind that companies can get away with this!!!
