SSInternational Marketing - CYDCOR - DS-MAX
RIPOFF For those still working for Cydcor, TRY THIS ON THEM it'll WORK!

There are hundreds of threads on this site on Cydcor and DS-MAX. 99% of them have something negative to say. But it seems to me like most of us move on with our lives and disregard our horrible experiences with Cydcor-related offices.

I am an ex-employee of SSInternational in Emeryville, California. I was there for about 4 months. To be honest, many of the workers there were stand-up guys. And that's why it's so sad to me to see the corporation taking advantage of them! I'm not necessarily talking about the owner or the manager, but rather, the system and Cydcor as a whole.

If you're reading this, I'm sure you know the stories. My case is certainly consistent with most other experiences that you'll find on this site. The question is; what can we do about it to prevent others from wasting their time? It's unethical and the structure of the company is based on lies.

I tried to report them to the job sites that they advertise on for advertising false propositions. I tried to get reimbursed for my overtime with no pay by contacting a lawyer. But, none of those attempts resulted in a resolution in my favor. So it occurred to me that for companies that care so little for the well being of their employees by lying and applying unethical tactics, the employees can justify treating their companies the same way.

If you are working for any Cydcor affiliate, this is what you can do. It will benefit you and hurt the company. That is, of course, assuming that you are willing to risk getting fired, which can be the greatest thing to happen to you!

*Start "faking" your applications for switching to AT&T, Verizon or whatever. You don't need personal information, just a business card. Then call in to the third party line pretending to be the store/business owner and confirm the swith. The owner will complain when he receives his first bill, receive reimbursement from the phone company and the phone company in turn, will question Cydcor as a legitamate partner in customer acquisition. YOU, on the other hand will have made extra cash, and Cydcor, AT&T or the store owner will not sue you because it's just too costly to chase that kind of petty amount. The store owner will not miss out on business since the original phone number does not change, and in the worst case scenario, he will have to pay for the $4.00-$10.00 increase in the phone bill.

I knew of several employees who did this while I was at SSInternational, and one got caught and got fired. This incident was not even reported because think about it; the owner will do anything to protect himself and his office by not reporting it to Rucks or Wiggins or whoever. But even if it does reach that level, they will NEVER reveal this scam to AT&T because of obvious reasons!

And the store owner, well... He'll be spending some time complaining to AT&T (he doesn't even know of Cydcor!) and with enough of these complaints, AT&T will cut their ties with Cydcor (wishfull thinking maybe?).

Do this for a couple of weeks. You'll make the $500-800/week that they promise you and go find another job! Pass the information on when you quit. Now before some of you begin to fire your shots at me for being a "scam-artist", please recognize the big picture - Cydcor is a giant scam machine.
