In April 04, we were looking to purchase a home. After looking thru the homes magzines giving out at the supermakert for free, we came about this company, Meadow Run Builders they advertise beautiful homes for starting at 169,000 with land.
We thought this was wonderful deal and idea moving to PA. "Little did we know" A man name "Bill" immediately took us out and showed us these homes in a community called Saw Creek Estates.
Of course we fell in love with one style of house. Well of course we are not getting anything like what was shown. They brought us back to the office and made a deposit for our land, you know to get the ball rolling.
We were so excited. Then we give them our life savings for the so called down payment for the house. Well it turn out they could not get us a out right loan so we got what is call a construction loan thru them. They were also supposed to deal with people without sterling credit.
Now it's a year and half later and my house is not done, no date of when it will be done, and they are looking for thousand in construction interest monies. Please anyone who can help me please help My partner and I are just besides ourselves.
We have gone into this without a attorney which was dum on our part, but boy are we learning a lesson.
HELP US PLEASE!!!
If you're looking I would not and I repeat deal with or go into any agreemnet with this company. They have destroy our life dream.
