I received a call at work from a woman named Ellen promoting Bic Pens and the advertising that I could take advantage of through their company. I had some reservations about continuing but I was very interested because of the tips and information they were giving me. I truly thought that it would be good for my business. I agreed to charge my Visa $118.00 with the promise to receive the pens within 5 business days.
I called on the fifth day to check the status and spoke with a woman that confirmed my information to find out that the name to be put on the pens was incorrect. She then promised me that she would take care of the correction and that the pens would be sent ASAP (no pun intended). I have left numerous messages with the company and have not received any return phone calls.
I have also e-mailed them several times. I am very disappointed and feel violated. I have read of this happening to another lady and at least I am able to stop it before they charge more to my Visa like they did to her account.
I hope that something is done to find out who is resposible for this companies actions or lack of actions.
