RIPOFF, window developed a crack, I called, and they will not replace the window or refund the money because the person who sold me the window went against company policy

I had Unified Window Systems install all new windows in my new house in 1997. During the winter of 2004 the center pane on the Bay window fogged over. I called Unified with the problem in July and ordered a new pane to be delivered and installed.

On July 29th the Unified truck comes and the driver says that he is not able to install the window because he doesn't have the tools. I inform him that installation was part of the deal. When he asks to use my ladders I decline. He then tells me to hire a glass co. To install the window, which I do the next day.

I inspect the glass co. Work after the window is installed and everything appears fine. During the winter of 2005 the new pane develops a crack that is crawling across the window. I call Unified, fully expecting them to replace the brand new window and they tell me that there is nothing they can do because they don't deal in repairs.

I told them that it was there co. That made the window and suggested that I get a glass co. Because there crew was unprepared for the installation. I don't understand a co. That doesn't back up their mistakes. It is not my fault that someone at Unified sold me a window that they weren't supposed to sell me.
