Apparently thieves responding to resumes on job search websites, asking you to cash checks for them, deduct your commission, and transfer the cash to their French bank account.
Apparently the address is one for a gay bar in Paris, the phone number is no good, and they use an AOL e-mail account and a New York fax machine.
Do not fall for this scam - according to one of the job search websites you will be mailed bogus checks, deduct your commission, transfer the cash to these people. When the check bounces it bounces back on your bank, leaving you owing your bank for the funds that you transfered to these people.
