First National Government Grant Benefits
Ripoff! Scam! Thank you usacomplaints.com reprot!

On May 26th I received a phone call from First National Government Grant Benefit stating I have been selected from my income tax return to receive a $12,500 dollar grant from the government, and did not have to pay it back. He also said I would not only receive this amount this year but every year from now on. Tarry Wilson id # 101008 stated the government had chosen 6,000 people to give these to. He said selection was based on a demographic survey they did and I must have participated in a few months ago. I don't remember any such survey.

Tarry said they would send me a packet of information and legal documents that would arrive in exactly 2 days.in this packet was the information on the grant, information on a Health Benefits package that is only $19.95 a month, but you are under no obligation. Also, in this packet would be instructions on how to send money to the Tsunami Relief Fund. A donation of $299.95 was requested.in the packet would also be a $100 cash voucher, good at any bank just for looking at the packet.

The number for their customer service department was stated as: 1-800-923-8939.

He also told me the only thing I would have to pay is a $29.95 shipping, handling, and processing fee for the government to put the money into my account electronically. This would be charged in exactly 2 days. Therefore, I will need your banking information so that we can get this check out to you.

When I told him I don't give my banking information over the phone, he got huffy with me. I don't understand your hesitation.

While I was on the phone with him, I Googled their business name and found Amanda's consumer complaints on here. I told Tarry, I just looked up your company on the internet and found where someone says IT IS A SCAM. He said, Some people are mean, ma'am. I couldn't take anymore and hung up!

I hope this scam doesn't get you. Please remember that no company would ask for banking information over the phone if they have no existing relationship with you. Be Careful!!!
