Trek Alliance
Lies and ambiguity

Following is an email that was sent to Trek Alliance by an EXTREMELY disgruntled person:

Recently I answered an ad that was placed in the local paper by your Orlando affiliate. The ad specified that your company was hiring trainers to recruit, hire and train the sales force of that office. I sent my resume and received a call from a woman in the Orlando office. We had a conversation in which I told her that I was looking for an entry-level training position in a corporate training department with the opportunity to move into training management and then perhaps to Director of Training or its equivalent. She told me that is how "Central Florida Marketing" and the company that it is affiliated with are structured. She said further, after a lengthy discussion, that she would like me to come in for an interview. We set an appointment.

I went to the Orlando office dressed in a suit, with a clean copy of my resume in hand, and prepared to interview for a position in your training department. I was flabbergasted to find that this "interview" was in fact a group of people who were assembled with the intention of talking them into going out to peddle products and "train" others to do the same so that everyone makes residual income, etc. I am appalled that your company has to trick people into coming to hear about your MLM scams. If you were so proud of your company and the positions that you have to offer, your Orlando office would be called "Trek Alliance" instead of the ambiguous name that it has now. If you were proud of your company and the "positions" that you have to offer, then the woman that I spoke to would not have given me false information and tricked me into coming to that bogus interview. I wasted my valuable time because your company and your "employees" do not have the integrity to answer questions honestly and give a true impression of the "opportunities" that you offer.

Perhaps your company has grown 20% per quarter, perhaps not. Whatever the case may be, doing business that way will harm you in the end. I will tell everyone that will listen about what happened, and they will tell their friends, etc. I am quite sure that I am not the only one who is appalled and angry at the outright lies and misrepresentation. That is NO way to recruit people or to conduct a business. I am sure that I'm not the only one who will talk about it. Eventually, word gets out. That will harm your bottom line.
