Ok well i as well fell vitim to this scam. I recieved a phone call on March 18 and was told that I was approved for an unsecured mastercard with a 2000 limit and that alls it would cost me was 249.00 debited from my bank account. Well I am a single mother with 5 boys so i don't have extra oney to be just giving away, but i went ahead and said ok to the card. I was told that it had 0% interest rate for one year and that they would report my on time payments to all of the major credit bureaus. It sounded good and like many others i asked a million and one questions, such as are you sure that its unsecure iwas told yes, i asked can you get cash off of the card and i was told that i had a 500 dollar a day limit and that i would recieve my pin number with my card via fedex or ups. Well the money came out of my account on March 22. I was also told that since I live in california that I would most likley recieve my card in just a few days after the money came out of my account. Well like others I had questions.
So i called the toll free number and learned that it was only some type of answering service that handled calls formany so called businesses. Needless to say weeks went by and still nothing, so i started bugging them to the point where they all pretty much knew me and that i kept on calling. Finally I was told last week that it was in the shipping department and that i would recieve it in just a few days via ups and that they would have a tracking number soon. Now a week later i still did not recieve anything so once again i called and asked them if they had a tracking number yet it was then that i was topld that it was being sent via the us mail. This is when i knew for sure that they were a fraud. I then asked for a direct phone number fot integra and was told that they did not have one. I then asked for an address and was given the one in new york so i decided to go on the internet and look the business up with the address and name, nothing found. So then i went to map quest and put in the address and asked for near by business and out came a whole list of businesses with this address so i started calling them asking about this integra and the first few didnt want to help me finally i reached a man who gave me the name of the managment company for that business complex, i reached a lady by the name of Mary and she was sooooo sooooo nice and helpful. She let me know that this was a scam and that she has had several calls about this company and the only reason why they had that address was because there was a company by the name of border mail that handled the mail for integra, i must say that they did not know that this company was a scam and that since learning are willing to help us who have been ripped off.
Mary told me about this web site and really gave me alot of helpful info. She then gave me the number to the mail company and i called them and the woman who answered the phone was very nice, she said that she had no problems giving me the name address and phone number of the owner but because of the privacy act that i would have to have my local law enforcement fax over the request and that she would have that info back to me in just a few min. I need now go to the police department and have them do that for me. I was able to contact my bank and they are getting my money back in 3 days luckly i caught on finally because i only have 60 days from the debit date to get the money back, so i was lucky. I really would like to llok into doing a class action law suit aganist these crooks
I am going to file a complaint with the attorney general in my state and also canada
