Three years ago, A new owner purchased the apartment complex I live in. After making an arrangement that the old (on site) managers would stay on. Once the keys were in the new owners hands, management got a 3 day notice to move. They were fabulous. Repairs, respect of tenants, the made this a pleasant place to live.
I have requested written and verbal.
Stove doesn't work, have to blow on pilot to
turn it on. They came in said let me order a part
1 yr later, nothing.
Front door leaks, winter time rain soaks my carpet and furniture.
The toilet leaks, soaking the hallway
No hot water in washing machines thats unsanitary
No water pressure. 45 mins to fill the tub
Termites in window ceils, burrowing holes and
coming up from bathroom tub drain.
Vagriants, doing drugs in stairways and drinking.
Smoke alarms dont work in stairways have told them they are beeping, that was a year ago.
They put up iron gating of the hallway where laundry room is, you can only get in or out with a key. Well what if there was a fire, someone who assisted you with your laundry accidently took the key to get out, you are locked in, you would burn to death, their is no other exit, except that gate.
The grounds are filthy, including laundry room and pool area.
Noisy tenants, loud music, partying in parking lot
management does nothing. They play their music really loud.
Last year a rat, chewed through my screen, lived in my home and kitchen told owner and landlord need to call someone out, no here, use these sticky traps. Gave me two, did not work, I literally had to catch him.
Owner removed Handicap sign for parking, I'm handicap. Ask him why he removed it, need more parking he says. Won't place it back up because we are a two car family, and its only one car per apt, other vechiles have to park on street. I have no cartilage in my knees, Knees being replaced in two months, the handicap parking spot is right out side my door.
Rent was raised 55.00. For what these people do not do a thing, except move immigrants in.
There is so much more management harrassed 9:00 at night on a sunday move yourcar, because cars because both cars were in parking lot, well at the time, I was parked in the handicap spot with my plaque in window (it shouldn't matter its designated to be handicap, they said move it now, or I am towing it, and the tow truck driver had it on the back of his truck. To get it off his truck, it cost me 187.14 in cash.
No communication with Tenants, they post new
info or bulletions that are of importance on the office window. Not everyone walks by there.
Its called make a notice, post it on every door.
When they do place a notice on the door, cutting trees, etc no parking, between 8-5 that day, nothing.
They take are money of 700 every month, 25 dollar later charge for past due after the 5th. As well as 25.00 for every week, balance is not paid.
5.00 if you blow a fuse.
10.00 for keys for new keys, because they placed or changed the locks on something. Why do we have to pay.
That is way, I feel I have been ripped off,
its all just money in there pocket.
