Postal Convenience Center
Ripoff liars rotten neighbors environmental violators work place bullies con artists bad post office

The Postal Convenience Center in San Diego offers terrible customer service, and shouldn't be handling any US mail at all! Dennis, apparently the owner, deliberately alters the sender's information! He will do this right in front of you, not even caring if you see him do this. This is outrageous behavior for a postal station, and back when all the post offices were part of the federal government, someone would be in big trouble!

Dennis was approached with a request to send a fax to a certain number that had a "5" in it. It was written quite clearly on the piece of paper provided there, as Dennis didn't provide fax cover sheets. Dennis feigned ignorance of what that specific numeral was in the fax number, and asked if it was a "9." He was told that it wasn't, that in fact it was a "5, " but he protended not to understand what was said. He did this several times, and even scratched out the "5" and replaced it with a "9." He actually refused to state that he recognized the fax number as it was written. Then when an attempt was made to re-write the number, he refused the customer service.

When the Post Office was part of the federal government, before it allowed itself to become private business, a person could use its services without fear of having mail or whatever deliberately misdelivered or mishandled. Those days are long gone, as shown by the Postal Convenience Center in San Diego. Here petty small business rivalries (assuming that was the reason for Dennis' irrational behavior) are shown to actually impede what is still partially a government process, being mail delivery or related functions.

The Postal Convenience Center sets a good example why the Post Office should be solely the government's responsiblity. Postal workers used to have to wear a badge. Dennis doesn't have one, and no doubt never will.
