I purchased the above product from Howard Industries on 7-29 for a total of $48.18 incl. Shipping. On first use 8-10 the cross bars were breaking. The product was unfit for merchantability and made in China for Franklin Sports. At the request of Howard Industries, I contacted the manufacturer Franklin Sports directly. I discussed the defects with Judith Michaels, a rep of Franklin Sports. Judith told me to send her evidence of my purchase, which I emailed to her and she would send me a replacement. After three different emails over the past three months Judith refuses any reply and never sent me the replacement promised. Looks like bad faith to me. It also appears that Franklin Sports does not stand behind products that they manufacture and distribute. If Judith Michaels wishes for me to return the defective product, I can do this if they agree to pay the shipping return.
