I was deleted after I blocked a man that continued to harass me. Regardless of time, day or night, when I would log onto site, he would also log on. I am not sure how he knew I was online, I did not send him messages to alert him, so he had some other type of notification. He would immediately call me and if I did not answer, he would text me. It was an attempted control to keep me off the site so I could not chat with anyone else.
I did tell him I was not interested, yet he continued to call, text, especially if I was online. I finally blocked him on the site and blocked him from my phone as well. The next day I was deleted from POF. They refused to give me a reason. They did say "complaints" can also result in an account being deleted. I am sure he did complain when he was blocked from getting in touch with me. However, POF, did not do any type of investigation as they claimed. There was not any type of misrepresentation of information on myself as they also insinuated. I did not violate any of their terms.
If this man has any further contact with me I will file a police complaint, get a protection order, and take any legal action available to me against both the man and POF.
