Was contacted by phone from a company called "i-selections" asking if i was interested in investment information. I said yes, as I thought they were calling from another company in australia called "i-select", who are provide an insurance comparison service in Australia.
They mailed me a brochure, which i didnt read then a woman form the company followed it up with a phone call today. She claimed it was an horse-racing sports investment scheme, whereby you pay for a membership of $6,000-$13,000 for a year, then more money as an investment which will have very high, tax free returns (I was quoted as being able to receive $39,000 if I had invested $1,000 a year ago).
I asked her to e-mail me all the information and terms and conditions. The profession looking brochure included address, phone number, e-mail, ABN and no website.
Couldn't find any info on net about the compnay. Searched the ABN and discovered it was previously called I SYSTEMS (AUST) PTY LTD from 25-10 to 22-05
I SHARE (AUST) PTY LTD from 14-03 to 25-10.
Did another search on those company to discover it was previously called Oracle, which ahs received dozens of complaints.
