Responded to a CL ad, sent the same message multiple times asking if the item was still available. Claimed he wanted the item but was out of town seeing family, would send certified check in the mail, asked for address and information. Claimed that once the check cleared and I had money in hand we would discuss a pick up time. Also stated the he was hearing impaired and all calls would go to e-mail. He responded to a totally different CL ad the 2nd time he contacted me about a different item I had posted. I never went through with the sale, due to a gut feeling he was a fraud, after looking him up on the internet I found multiple complaints stating the same thing.
