I received a letter from Addleshaw, Bird & Mitchell stating that I have won $2,997, 500.00."On August 26th, You were confirmed by a data Audit for Receipt of a check issued in your name, and this Guaranteed Payment has been registered, pending timely receipt of your claim filing pursuant to the deadline and posted and disclosures herein..."
Further, "Complete the request information and place document and folio release registrant fee in the priority reply envelope, affix postage & mail before deadline."
Then at the bottom it state "amount due for release: $20.00." This is illegal without receiving the stated award.
