A pop-up screen mimicked my work email site and asked if I would participate in a 4 question survey regarding the site. I did. At the end they offered a "free gift" where I had to pay the shipping ($3). I did because I trusted the integrity of my workplace site. Shortly after, I had the same pop-up appear on my hotmail and gmail account. That's when I realized this was a scam.
When I checked my visa bill, I found they billed me $89 and shipped the product. I was then told I didn't read the fine print.
I responded by questioning the virus or Trojan horse used to mimic my work email site and the response I got was "you should have read the fine print".
What they are doing is illegal and should be shut down.
