I received a call at 11 AM asking if I was still interested, over 18, etc. I was asked if I was a licensed security guard, I replied yes. I was then told to work in NYC buildings I have to have fire guard and CPR training. I told him I didn't. At which point he says it's $80 I need to bring that, my ss card and ID to the interview. At which point I scheduled the interview but a red flag was raised. I googled asp security. Their website was cheap. Then I googled their address and found not only complaints against them, but they also used 2 other company names in this.
I called back to cancel and the machine said it was a pesticide company. They called back to ask questions and encourage me to come but once I told them any and all needed classes would be taken thru my original security company, they didn't care about me coming in.
They didn't actually get my money & I hope someone sees this before they fall into the trap.
