I have had a Reach Out Wireless Government phone for a little over a year. I like the phone and I can hear well when using it. Well I got the idea that I should pay the $26.50 for UNLIMITED TALK. I used my US Bank ATM Visa Debit/Credit. Card to try to pay for the minutes using a PC at my local library. I had MO. RE than enough cash in my bank account. I tried FIVE times to pay the $26.50 to get Unlimited talk. So, the next day, August 7th, I alled and spoke to a Customer Service Rep named Rachel. She also tried to run my VISA and said my card was declined. At this point I am worried. I go to my bank and speak with the MANAGER. He saw where my card was DECLINED SIX TIMES. And he assured me that my CARD and my ACCOUNT were fine with more than enough money to cover $26.50. And the Bank Manager said the problem was with REACH OUT wireless internal system. I decided after all the aggravation that LIFE is TOO SHORT to keep FORCING Reach Out Wireless to take my money. So right now I am considering switching to another Government phone carrier who WILL take my $26.50. However I want to keep the same Government phone number as it has been listed numerous times as my 2nd phone contact number. So I just gave up, why should I force anyone to take my money for a service where THEY should figure out WHY they cannot take my MONEY. I hate this company.
