On May 30, I ordered a "free" sample of Alore cream for my wife for which I was to pay $5.97 US for shipping. I received appropriate notice by e-mail from Alore regarding the order the same day. The sample was received soon afterwards, but my Visa card was not billed for the $5.97 until June 13. On June 13, Alore billed my Visa for an additional $98.46, without any notice to me, and without sending any additional product. When I reported this to Visa, I found that there were several additional fraudulent billings about to be charged to my visa account, from overseas cosmetic companies. I suspected collusion here. Visa asked me to call Alore immediately to get a cancellation #, and once Visa had that #, they proceeded to get Alore to refund the $98.46 charge, block the additional fraudulent charges, close my Visa account and give me a new one. I ended up not losing any $, but buyer beware!
