When my granddaughter was 5 months old, her mother moved in and then decided that it was ok to drag baby out at midnite to motels to have sex with other men. [ this was her 4th child all total she had 6 children ] well after we raised this beautiful baby girl for 4 1/2 years she feels settled [ got married ] and says she is ready to raise this child. This child only knew me and my husband as mommy and daddy. 2 months ago she came and took her, [ I had no legal papers to keep her, only promises of oh mom ill never take her from you.] she knew my daughter was her mom but had no father only my husband. She still thinks of him as her daddy. When she had her last child she had her tubes tied thank god, now her husband wants a little girl, well she comes and gets her. I know i messed up by not getting legal custody, but here is the rundown on her other children, 2 have always lived with her. 1 lives with other father and 1 lives with other grandmother. 1 she gave up for adoption. Only two has same father. My husband and I are heartbroken. My life will never be the same without this little girl, sure we see her on weekends but its not the same.
