Received a poorly written letter from G. System Corp.informing me that I was selected to be a mystery shopper. Enclosed was a check made out to me for $1989.25, with the request to deposit in my current bank account. I needed to register on-line to verify the checking account information.
I contacted PNC Bank and they could not provide me with any information unless a G. System staff member was on the line with me. They are not listed with the BBB, so no information from them. I at this point considered it a scam and destroyed the check.
