I have Terrazzo floor through out my home. This is an older home, the Terrazzo was covered by carpet, the company DCS Inc. (Daniel), stated he would remove the carpet and give me an opinion on restoring the Terrazzo floor. Daniel and a worker removed the carpet, there were large nails holding the carpet in place around the perimeter of the floors, big holes were evident when the nails were pulled out, large stains evident on all the floors, Daniel stated he could fill the holes and the the stains would not be evident when he Diamond polished the floor. We accepted his expert opinion, he filled the holes with epoxy, cleaned and polished the floor, we were concerned the stains were still evident, the areas he filled with the epoxy were very apparent with large amounts of epoxy, a different color from the floor, Daniel stated that the stains and epoxy would not be apparent after a few days. The stains and the filled holes are more apparent not than when Daniel initially did the work. We called Daniel and stated our concerns, he stated there was nothing he could do; my husband called him again and stated that the work was not as promised by him. Daniel hung up the phone. We now need to cover the floor with an additional cost to us of $3000, the original work cost $2000. We also paid Daniel an additional fee for taking up the carpet and filling in the holes of $300.
