Craigslist / PayPal Scam
Person emails you inquiring about your item (s) listed on Craigslist - " Whats the condition? Any wear or tear? Reply back to my personal email (lillady24 (at) wildblue.net) with your price respectively..." All which was clearly explained on my listing...
After you reply the person replies with generic email - "Alright, I am quite interested in purchasing it. But I won't be able to come and check it myself because I'm currently out of the state, and I don't know if PayPal will work for you cos its the only way i can pay for now. So if PayPal is fine, then i would like to have your PayPal email address for the payment, and also the address where the item will be picked up because am arranging for a pick up. So as soon as the funds is cleared in your account, they will come for the pick up.
Please write me back today.
Regards."
This is a scam - No one buys $800 in furniture with out asking measurements/seeing it - OH and no ever immediately agrees to your original asking price. All pretty good give-a-way that if it seems to good to be true - Google their info!
