I live in bangalore, india & i am a senior citizen aged 75 & suffering from prostate cancer since 2008.
While seeing on june, 14th. a pop-up ad. Of company "peaklife" with their web i.D. - quot;fcf*peak life", @ the right of my internet page, proffering their drug for management urinary problem associated with old age and prostate problems and asking me to fill-up certain data regarding my eligibility for a week's supply of their, so called, efficacious drug, and on my responding2 the same, they confirmed in a trice, their acceptance of my eligibility4 supply of their drug and wanted me2 pay4 shipment charges alone of some us$4.00 and also asked of me2 pay4 another supplement costing u. S$3.00, if i agree. Since i decided2 test their drug, for my urinating problem, i offered2 accept their supply offered by them free of cost. I paid U.S.$7.00 thro' my india credit card, & they were paid their dues of U.S.$7.00 on june, 14th. 2013.
Since i have my daughter's family living in va-22066, i had given their address in U.S.A. For shipment & also advised my daughter2 receive the drug as & when it reaches her.
For payment of the U.S.$7.00 or so, on my filling up my credit card details, they had sent2 my daughter resident in va-22066, the packet. Up to this point their action is in accord.
To-day, july, 6th. i got an alert from my credit card company, regarding a latest recovery of U.S.$79.00 by this company covering perhaps 30 days supply of their prostate drug, which has taken me by complete surprise.
For the supply of 30 days drug as well as recovery of cost thereof by use of my credit card, thro' use of auto debit, peak life had never taken my permission to recover the cost of U.S.$79.00, nor i had agreed to use of my credit card thro' the route of autodebit. This is absolute cheating & robbery.
Since i have not even used their intial supply of drug nor i had asked of them2 continue any future supply, nor i had agreed2 pay for any future supply, i now demand it of the said company to immediately refund the unauthorised debit of U.S.$79.00 forthwith
