They called my mother (who is unfortunately very gullible) claiming to be calling on behalf of her insurance company. They said they would help her fill out the Medicare application to reduce her monthly costs and requested a lot of her personal information. She sent them EVERYTHING from her bank statements (requiring that EVERY page be sent, even the first page with her account information on it) to copies of her and my father's driver's licenses. After the application was "submitted" my mother began seeing charger from local business in Florida on her card. They were making purchases at hair salons, auto shops all costing her $900!!! I know for a fact it was them because my mother just uses her card to deposit checks from work and nothing else; and it is too much of a coincidence that these purchases were made in the exact same city this call center is located.
DO NOT MAKE the same mistake my mother made people!!!
